A free Homeownership 101 Workshop will help New Yorkers better understand the steps toward buying a home, including mortgage basics, financial readiness, credit preparation, and available financing options. Hosted by 60th Assembly District Leader Michael Rosendary in partnership with Heather-Sky McField and Mylah’s Organization Inc., the workshop will take place in East New York on Saturday, July 25.
As housing affordability remains one of the biggest challenges facing New York City residents, access to reliable homebuying education can help first-time buyers make informed decisions about their financial future. The workshop will provide practical tools and guidance to help participants understand the responsibilities, opportunities, and planning involved in becoming a homeowner.
