Ben and Jerry’s Debuts Local Scoop Shop in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn

Posted By Bill Harris

Something sweet is coming to Myrtle Avenue.

Ben & Jerry’s looks set to open a new Clinton Hill shop at 431 Myrtle Ave., where a ‘Coming Soon’ sign has appeared in the window. There’s already a storefront listing live on Yelp, confirming the address and naming Ben & Jerry’s as the exciting new tenant.

Further fueling speculation, Ben & Jerry’s official website currently advertises a ‘Brooklyn, Myrtle Ave Ice Cream Shop, Coming Soon,’ matching what locals have spotted in person.

Near a Recently Closed Community Staple

This new scoop shop will be just steps from the beloved Connecticut Muffin, which recently shut its doors, signifying another change along the ever-busy Myrtle Avenue—a long-time hub for coffee, snacks, and gatherings.

For Clinton Hill residents, the arrival of Ben & Jerry’s could quickly become part of the everyday scene, appealing to after-school families, weekend strollers, and anyone on the hunt for a late-night treat. For Myrtle Avenue, it’s yet another sign that new businesses are stepping in as older favorites move on.
