A free Homeownership 101 Workshop will be held in East New York on Saturday, July 25, helping first-time homebuyers better understand the process of purchasing a home in New York City. Hosted by 60th Assembly District Leader Michael Rosendary in partnership with Heather-Sky McField and Mylah’s Organization Inc., the workshop will provide practical guidance on mortgages, credit readiness, financing options, and preparing for homeownership.
The workshop aims to give East New York residents the knowledge and resources needed to take the first steps toward buying a home. As housing affordability remains a major concern across Brooklyn, the event will help participants better understand the financial planning, responsibilities, and opportunities involved in achieving homeownership.
