Fusion East Restaurant to Open in Glenmore Manor
The development will welcome a new location from Fusion East Restaurant, known for its modern dining in the Spring Creek area of East New York. With this addition, a much-anticipated, full-service neighborhood restaurant will become available to Brownsville residents.
According to NYCPolitics.com, Fusion East’s owner Andrew Walcott shared, “We’re excited to introduce Fusion East to Brownsville as part of this exciting development.”
Monthly Rent Highlights
Glenmore Manor features units ranging from studios to three-bedrooms. Studio rents start at $560—this includes 16 studio apartments specifically for seniors aged 62 and above.
Sample monthly rents are as follows: $711 for select one-bedroom apartments, $840 for select two-bedrooms, $1,289 for some studios, $1,622 for certain one-bedrooms, and up to $3,065 for some three-bedroom units. Final rent varies by size and eligibility.
Income and Asset Eligibility
Eligibility is determined by both household size and annual income. For the $560 studios, eligible incomes start at $22,492, with higher maximums by category and household size. Asset limits are also in place, with examples ranging from $48,600 to $129,600, depending on apartment choice.
Building Features and Amenities
Residents will enjoy 24-hour security, a gym, secure bike and storage spaces, an outdoor courtyard, common and package rooms, free in-unit broadband (up to 100 Mbps), in-unit A/C, stainless appliances, and a laundry room (extra fees may apply). Electricity is tenant-paid; heat, hot water, and heating gas are included. No pets allowed.
Special Preferences and Set-Asides
Certain units are designated for seniors (62+) and for those with mobility or hearing/vision needs. Additional preference is given to residents of Brooklyn Community Board 16, as well as municipal workers and veterans.
