Football fans in East New York and nearby neighborhoods will have a fresh hotspot for Super Bowl Sunday this year, as Fusion East Restaurant & Bar throws a Pre–Super Bowl Football Jersey Party and Watch Event on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
The Super Bowl event takes place from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., offering fans an afternoon filled with food, music, and plenty of football energy before the 6:00 p.m. kickoff. Attendees are invited to don their favorite jerseys and soak in a vibrant mix of sports, culture, and community spirit.
Known as Gospel Grooves & Grits: Pre–Super Bowl Football Jersey Party, the gathering fuses football excitement with a strong neighborhood feel, making it a key event for residents of East New York and the surrounding areas.
“It’s more than a game—we’re creating a sense of community,” explained Andrew Walcott, owner of Fusion East Restaurant & Bar. “At Fusion East, our focus is serving great food and providing an inviting space. For those in East New York or close by, this is the ideal spot for the Super Bowl.”
Fusion East is found in the Spring Creek section of East New York, an area experiencing residential growth and new developments. The restaurant is located adjacent to the Gateway Mall entrance on Elton Street, ensuring easy access for both locals and guests.
