CitiWide Mobile Testing will be at the 3rd Annual HealthyNYC Expo, <strong>Saturday Sept 7, 2019<\/strong> at the Brooklyn Sports Club,\u00a0 to provide <strong>Allergy Testing<\/strong> for attendees. Allergy Testing will be performed by a physician, therefore you should be sure to bring your valid insurance card and ID.\u00a0 They accept most health insurance. Testing will be performed from 10am-3pm.<\/p>\n<p>They also provide Pulmonary Lung Function Testing and Immunotherapy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How does allergy testing work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Allergy testing is when a patient\u2019s skin is tested to find out a specific allergen that may be triggering an allergic reaction in a person. Some allergens that are tested for are environmental and various types of food.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is Pulmonary Function Test?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pulmonary function tests (PFTs) are non-invasive tests that show how well the lungs are working. The tests measure lung volume, capacity, rates of flow, and gas exchange. This information can help your healthcare provider diagnose and decide the treatment of certain lung disorders.<\/p>\n<p>CitiWide Mobile Testing will also be on hand to perform blood pressure screening.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allergy Testing will be performed by a physician, therefore you should be sure to bring your insurance card and ID.
