CUNY campuses across New York City will once again serve as polling locations for the upcoming primary election, providing voters with expanded access to early voting and Election Day sites across multiple boroughs. University officials say the effort reflects CUNY\u2019s longstanding role as a civic institution embedded within local communities while helping make participation in the democratic process more accessible.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

CUNY Campuses Open Doors To Voters Across New York City<\/strong><\/h2>\n

CUNY campuses will serve as election polling locations throughout New York City’s upcoming primary election period, giving voters additional opportunities to cast ballots closer to where they live, work, and study.<\/p>\n

The initiative includes 16 polling sites spread across multiple boroughs, with 10 campuses designated for early voting and seven serving as Election Day polling locations.<\/p>\n

Officials said in a statement shared through NYC Newswire<\/a>, the City University of New York will host early voting between June 13 and June 21, followed by Primary Election Day voting on June 23.<\/p>\n

The effort reinforces the growing role educational institutions play in supporting civic engagement and expanding access to the electoral process throughout New York City.<\/p>\n
