CUNY Welcomes Voters for Early Voting<\/h2>\n

The City University of New York (CUNY) is opening its doors to New Yorkers once again, offering 14 campuses as polling sites for both early voting and Election Day. Early voting will run from October 26 to November 3<\/strong>, with 10 campuses across the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens hosting polling locations. Six campuses will also serve as polling sites on Election Day, November 5<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

CUNY Chancellor F\u00e9lix V. Matos Rodr\u00edguez expressed pride in the university\u2019s role in civic engagement: \u201cCUNY prepares students to be socially aware participants in society, and voting season allows us to expand that reach by welcoming New Yorkers to exercise their right to vote.\u201d<\/p>\n

Promoting Civic Engagement with CUNY Votes<\/h2>\n

Through its CUNY Votes<\/strong> initiative, the university continues to promote voter registration, participation, and education. This non-partisan effort coordinates civic engagement activities across all 25 CUNY colleges.<\/p>\n

For those not yet registered to vote, there\u2019s still time\u2014eligible voters have until October 26<\/strong> to register. Information is available on the CUNY Votes website, the NY State Board of Elections, and the NYC Board of Elections.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s on the Ballot<\/h2>\n

New Yorkers will cast their votes for the next president, vice president, state legislators, and local judges. Additionally, voters will weigh in on important proposals, including one state proposal and five city proposals\u2014so don\u2019t forget to flip your ballot!<\/p>\n
