Co-founders and lifelong locals Oleg Rybak and Dmitry Khavko opened this modern European restaurant to deliver high-end cuisine with a neighborly spirit.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Restaurant by and for the Neighborhood<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Rybak, whose passion is wine, and Khavko, a whisky connoisseur, both felt the area lacked refined restaurants nearby. He served as executive chef at Veselka, holds a Grand Diploma from the French Culinary Institute, and achieved notability in D.C. by opening Ruta, which earned admiration for his acclaimed borscht.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A Thoughtful Wine Selection<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Terra places great emphasis on its wine program.
