{"id":133,"date":"2018-06-09T20:04:55","date_gmt":"2018-06-09T20:04:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/multi.nycnewsnetwork.com\/nycbusinessdaily\/become-a-sponsor-of-fashion-on-the-hudson-july-14-2018\/"},"modified":"2018-06-10T20:23:17","modified_gmt":"2018-06-10T20:23:17","slug":"become-a-sponsor-of-fashion-on-the-hudson-july-14-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nycnewsnetwork.com\/nycbusinessdaily\/become-a-sponsor-of-fashion-on-the-hudson-july-14-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Become a Sponsor of Fashion On The Hudson July 14, 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>HISTORY OF FASHION ON THE HUDSON<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fashion on the Hudson was created in 1997 to give Independent and Emerging Fashion Industry talent a platform.\u00a0 There was Fashion Week, 7th on 6<sup>th<\/sup>, but no place for the independent who could not afford those prices, therefore, Fashion on the Hudson was born.<\/p>\n<p>It was initially named 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0on 125<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0when we were on 125<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0in front of the Harlem State Office Building, but in 2008, our crowd grew too large when we stopped traffic on 125<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and the police had to direct traffic around our crowd (the Cops loved it).\u00a0 In 2008, we were told to \u201cYou Need Central Park or Madison Square Garden, your Audience is too large for 125<sup>th<\/sup>Street), so in 2009 we went to Riverbank State Park, where we have been ever since.<\/p>\n<p>Last year our Fashion on the Hudson show was AMAZING, a MASSIVE CROWD (almost got in trouble again \u2013 crowd control).\u00a0 We are looking for even more this year.\u00a0 We are asking EVERYONE to mark their calendars, (<strong>Saturday July 14, 2018<\/strong>) and make it a point to share this day with us.\u00a0 This is day of ReBirth, Connecting, Friendships, and Forgiveness.\u00a0 Think about the reason the event was created in the first place, to give the INDEPENDENT FASHION INDUSTRY TALENT A PLACE!!!!!
