You can add citrus fruits as well. Partners well with yogurt and granola or my favorite chia-see Kefir. Also, no problem substituting honey for the cane\/coconut sugar.<br \/>\n<strong><em>J. Brittany Ray, Health and Nutrition Educator<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 pint of raspberries<\/li>\n<li>1 pint of blueberries<\/li>\n<li>1 pint of blackberries<\/li>\n<li>1 carton of strawberries, stem removed and sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 lemon<\/li>\n<li>3 oranges<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons pure cane sugar or coconut sugar<\/li>\n<li>Fresh Mint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Wash, rinse, and dry the berries. Set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Zest and juice the lemon and oranges into a large mixing bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Add berries to the bowl and toss together.<\/li>\n<li>Chop up a handful of mint.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle mint and sugar on berries.<\/li>\n<li>Toss and set aside 10 minutes at room temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This berry and mint dish is refreshing on a hot day or all year round.
