The 3rd Annual HealthyNYC Expo is this Saturday Sept. 7, 2019. The event will be loaded with activities for the entire family. See the Activities Schedule below:<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> Brooklyn Sports Club – 1540 Van Siclen Ave., Brooklyn NY 11239<\/p>\n
NOTE:<\/strong> Allergy Testing, Blood Pressure Screening and engagement at the vendor tables will be happening throughout the day.<\/p>\n
10:00am<\/strong> – Doors open \u2013 Attendee check-in and check-in for special activities \u2013 Main gym.<\/p>\n
10am \u2013 11am<\/strong>\u00a0 – Visit health resource tables for information, giveaways, raffles and games.\u00a0 Main gym.<\/p>\n
Be sure to find out what each vendor has to offer in terms of information and resources. Ask questions.<\/p>\n
11am<\/strong> – Free Dance Class by Purelements (Ages 8-19) \u2013 Dance Studio. \u00a0You must check-in at the HealthyNYC desk when you arrive at 10am.<\/p>\n
11:15am<\/strong> – Stress band exercise (licensed trainer will demonstrate the proper use of stress bands, with attendees participating). Main gym.<\/p>\n
11:45am<\/strong> – Full body Workout by Alwayz Fit 4 Lyfe (families and seniors) \u2013 Main gym.<\/p>\n
12:30pm<\/strong> – Healthcare Panel Discussion (Home Care, Open Enrollment, MLTC, Medicaid)<\/p>\n
Moderator will ask questions, but attendees will be allowed to ask questions as well. Former ENY District Leader, Nikki Lucas will be moderating. Main gym.<\/p>\n
1:00pm<\/strong> – Live Jazz band performs \u2013 Main gym.<\/p>\n
1:00pm<\/strong> – Introduction to Swimming for children ages 5 and up (must check-in upon arrival)\u00a0 Swimming pool.<\/p>\n
1:00pm<\/strong> – Cycling Class (must check-in upon arrival to the Expo) Cycling studio.<\/p>\n
1:30pm<\/strong> – Introduction to Tai Chi (open to everyone) \u00a0Main gym.<\/p>\n
2:00pm<\/strong> – Raffle winners selected (prizes by vendors\/partners)<\/p>\n
2:15pm<\/strong> – Book bag giveaway \u2013 While supplies last<\/p>\n
NOTE:<\/strong> DJ, Allergy Testing, vendor engagement, giveaways and refreshments (fruit, water, food samples) are continuous throughout the event. DJ pauses during panel discussion and live jazz set.<\/p>\n
