East New York, Brooklyn<\/em> \u2014 The former Linden Blvd Multiplex Cinemas<\/strong> has officially been transformed into a massive Food Bazaar Supermarket<\/strong>, bringing a much-needed full-service supermarket to the East New York community.<\/p>\n

Located on Linden Boulevard near Loring Avenue, the site was once home to the neighborhood\u2019s only movie theater, before the 8 acre parcel of land was sold to Food Bazaar as reported on EastNewYork.com<\/strong> <\/a>in 2023.<\/p>\n

The opening is a significant upgrade for nearby residents, particularly those living in Linden Plaza<\/strong> and the Pink Houses<\/strong>, who previously had to travel over a mile to the ShopRite<\/strong> at Gateway Mall for full grocery runs. Now, with a major supermarket right in their own backyard, local families have easier access to fresh produce, meats, seafood, and household essentials.<\/p>\n

This new location adds to Food Bazaar\u2019s presence in the area, complementing their existing East New York store at 111-10 Flatlands Avenue<\/strong> and a Brownsville location at 417 Junius Street<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
