Kota the Friend is taking his ‘No Rap on Sunday’ movement on the road! The acclaimed indie hip-hop artist is embarking on a 26-city tour across the U.S. and Canada, bringing his unique sound and empowering message to fans. But the ‘No Rap on Sunday’ Tour is more than just a series of concerts. It’s an initiative aimed at supporting and uplifting independent artists. As part of this mission, Kota has announced the ‘No Rap on Sunday Open Verse Challenge,’ providing a platform for unsigned artists and those signed to independent labels to showcase their talent. The challenge revolves around Kota’s track \u201cNo Rap on Sunday,\u201d the title track of his new album. Artists from the tour cities are invited to create and record their own original verses to the song. The album itself is a testament to Kota’s collaborative spirit, featuring appearances from Big Sean, Fivio Foreign, Liana Bank$, and rising stars like King Kota and Jae Lou. The rewards for the ‘No Rap on Sunday Open Verse Challenge’ are significant.
