This support includes a recently approved $2 million in the City\u2019s FY 2026 budget\u2014thanks to Council Speaker Adrienne Adams and Council Member Sandy Nurse\u2014moving the hospital\u2019s transformation plans forward.<\/p>\n<p>The funds will help expand Wyckoff&#8217;s NICU and further renew its 11th-floor Maternity\/Postpartum and 12th-floor Labor &#038; Delivery units, reinforcing the hospital\u2019s standing as a key care provider for Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Upgraded NICU Focused on Family-Centered Care<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The renovated NICU will be 5,000 square feet, housing 15 incubators, three nursery spaces (including an isolation room), and amenities like a breastfeeding room, family lounge, updated nurses\u2019 stations, staff areas, utility and storage rooms, plus enhanced corridors to support clinical teams.<\/p>\n<p>Wyckoff Heights Medical Center previously received $3.8 million in capital funding in FY 2024 and FY 2025 for phases one and two.
