Brooklyn politics just got a little more interesting. As the race for Brooklyn Borough President heats up, a well-known Central Brooklyn lawmaker is throwing his support behind a candidate with deep neighborhood roots and a long track record of public service.<\/span><\/p>\n

With less than a month to go before the Democratic primary, the endorsement could help shift the momentum and possibly the outcome.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Trusted Ally Steps Forward<\/span><\/h2>\n

Assemblymember Brian Cunningham<\/b>, who represents District 43 in Central Brooklyn, has officially endorsed <\/span>Khari Edwards<\/b> in the race for Brooklyn Borough President. Citing Edwards\u2019 decades of public service and grassroots leadership, Cunningham praised his deep-rooted commitment to the borough and the communities that call it home.<\/span><\/p>\n
