Renee Collymore<\/strong>, Democratic Liaison for the 57th Assembly District, will host \u201cParty With The Mayor\u201d<\/strong>, a special thank you event in honor of Mayor Eric Adams, following his successful efforts to reduce the size of the city\u2019s largest migrant shelter in Clinton Hill.<\/p>\n

NYC NEWSWIRE – Mayor Eric Adams with Renee Collymore and some of the Clinton Hill community members who sat with the mayor for dinner to discuss community issues surrounding the influx of 4,000 asylum seekers into the 2 block radius in Clinton Hill<\/p><\/div>\n

The event will take place at Sanders Studios<\/strong>, 525 Waverly Avenue, on Sunday April 6\u00a0from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM<\/strong>, and is open to all Fort Greene and Clinton Hill residents who wish to express their appreciation for the Mayor\u2019s responsiveness and leadership.<\/p>\n

Just weeks ago, Collymore organized a private dinner with Mayor Adams and a small group of homeowners and business owners, where they shared concerns about the strain the shelter\u2014with over 4,000 asylum seekers\u2014was placing on the community\u2019s infrastructure and resources. Since then, the number of shelter residents has been reduced to fewer than 400, a shift that Collymore and many others in the community say reflects responsible governance and compromise.<\/p>\n

\u201cMayor Adams listened,\u201d said Hon. Collymore<\/strong>. \u201cHe sat with us, heard us out, and said he would do something\u2014and he did. On behalf of my neighbors, we are grateful for the safe and dignified transition of the migrants to a new location in the Bronx.\u201d<\/p>\n

    \u201cClinton Hill is in dire need of elected officials who understand the art of compromise among residents, not those pushing a narrow socialist agenda,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

    As the Mayor prepares to run as an Independent after collecting over 25,000 signatures on Democratic petitions, community members say his accessibility and action-oriented leadership are what set him apart.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWe have never had a Mayor as accessible as Mayor Adams,\u201d added Collymore. \u201cIf you can vote for Cuomo, you can surely vote for Adams.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Collymore also praised the recent drop in crime under the Adams administration, calling it a testament to his public safety focus and steady leadership.<\/p>\n
