Genre-bending EDM duo Big Gigantic<\/a> have announced a collaboration with Brooklyn recording artist Kota the Friend<\/a> on a new single, \u2018Deja vu\u2019. <\/em>The track will reach all streaming services at midnight on Tuesday, April 5th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Big Gigantic announced the release via an Instagram post yesterday, complete with a presave link which can be found here.<\/a> \u00a0The Denver based duo have a history of working with prominent rappers including previous collaborations with Pell, Logic, Felly and Wacka Flocka Flame.<\/p>\n

Path to Deja Vu<\/h3>\n

The collision course will pair the electronic prowess of Big Gigantic with Kota the Friend\u2019s approachable, down-to-earth lyricism.\u00a0 While the track is certain to bridge the gap between distinct genres, the similarities between the two acts are uncanny.<\/p>\n

First, both Kota and Big Gigantic are independent, by choice.\u00a0 Also, loyal core fanbases provide immense support to each. Kota and Big Gigantic consistently reward them with new music. Finally, both acts draw deep influence from elements of hip hop and jazz.\u00a0 The Deja Vu <\/em>collaboration materialized as a natural fit.<\/p>\n

Kota the Friend and Big Gigantic both recently announced upcoming music festival schedules<\/a>.\u00a0 Big Gigantic will headline ROWDYTOWN X<\/em> on September 23 and 24th<\/sup> at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
