Getting up on your tippy-toes is one of the hardest moves in dance, and the annual “Counterpointe” series is devoted to that impressive maneuver. The three-night performance series features seven female choreographers creating pieces for pointe shoes, each paired with a work of visual art.<\/p>\n

Tuesday April 11 Meta man It’s a movie about a show about a show! Seven episodes of the twisty meta-documentary series “The Show about the Show,” which first aired on Brooklyn’s Bric TV, will screen together tonight. Each short episode is about the making of the previous episode, and filmmaker Caveh Zahedi will try to explain it all in a discussion after the show. <\/p>\n
