Police officers collided with an Uber car and then struck a fence in Marine Park on June 25, officials said. <\/p>\n

The patrol vehicle was traveling up E. 38th Street from Avenue S toward Fillmore Avenue when the law-enforcers hit the for-hire driver in the intersection around 3 pm, officials said. The police car then rammed into a fence on the corner of Fillmore Avenue and E. 38th Street, according to authorities. <\/p>\n

The Uber driver refused medical attention, but an emergency responders transported two police officers to Kings County Hospital with minor injuries, officials said. <\/p>\n

The intersection has a stop sign on E. 38th Street but not Fillmore Avneue. Officials would not say whether police obeyed the posting.<\/p>\n
